Leila Motta, D.O.M, AP, Dipl. O.M., ADS. is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and a board-certified licensed acupuncture physician. Dr. Motta graduated from Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH) in Laurel, Maryland with a degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She obtained her Masters degree in Acupuncture first and subsequently studied for her Doctoral degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Dr. Motta holds a Diplomate Certification in Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) a Florida state license and is a Nationally board-certified acupuncturist. She is also a certified Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist (ADS) and holds certification in injection therapy as well. Dr. Motta specializes in Neuro Acupuncture and studied at Neuro Acupuncture Institute (NAI), New Mexico. She also holds a certificate of completion for Cosmetic Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation. As a Natural Healthcare Practitioner, she believes in treating the body as a whole, recognizing that wellness first begins with the mind. A positive and healthy mindset allows for a more favorable outcome in the body. Tasha is passionate and committed to providing excellent quality care. With her knowledge in Oriental medicine, she combines the East and West therapies to bring an authentic experience of health and well-being to her clients.

An NCCAOM nationally board-certified licensed acupuncturist, Tasha is the Chief Practitioner and owner of Quiet Waters Wellness Center. Tasha graduated from East West College of Natural Medicine where she earned a Master’s Degree in both Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Health Sciences. She earned her AS Degree from Florida College of Natural Medicine in Pompano, Florida.

Tasha began her career as a licensed massage therapist (LMT); however, she holds multiple certifications in neuromuscular therapy, sports massage, and reflexology just to name a few. While in the field of massage, she expanded her repertoire of skills to include cranial sacral therapy, myofascial release, and pregnancy massage. This was well manifested in the over 20 years she worked at the Ritz Carlton Naples Resort and Spa before she branched off on her own. Tasha also has over 7 years of experience as a licensed aesthetician and combines this knowledge and skill base with acupuncture to offer specialized Acupuncture Facials. Now as a DOM, AP, Tasha has added such skills as Auricular Therapy, Fire Cupping, and homeopathic herbal remedies to her repository to assist in the treatment of her clients.
